Feedback Strategies

 I read the Articles "The Difference Between Praise and Feedback" by Anya Kamenetz and "How to Give Bad Feedback Without Being a Jerk" by Adam Grant.


Both of these articles pointed out not to be superficial while giving feedback. In the first article, superficial feedback is just praise. It gives the person no sustenance to really appreciate. In the second article, giving "compliment sandwich" is really ineffectual. Instead being transparent and keeping in mind that you are there to help them is the best way to giving feedback.
